KUTTLER EMDR & PSYCHOTHERAPY

ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Caroline Kuttler (she/her/hers) and I am a licensed professional therapist in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
I received my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins School of Education in 2018 and became fully licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of PA in 2021/New Jersey in 2023. I have worked in many different environments including a methadone clinic, inpatient dual-diagnosis facility, an outpatient community health center, and a group private practice.
I am currently residing in Philadelphia, PA and offering telehealth services to PA and NJ residents.
PHILOSOPHY & VALUES
Validation, acceptance of the present moment, and seeing the world with a nonjudgmental lens are my values in both my personal life and in the therapy environment. I genuinely believe that we are all doing the best we can at each present moment. Whether our coping mechanisms are effective or not, understanding can be found in our actions. All clients will be met with empathy, compassion, and acceptance.
I celebrate and stand with all communities of color, genders, bodies, and neurodiversities. Cultural competency within the therapeutic relationship requires knowledge, awareness, advocacy, and empathy. I am committed to continuing my education surrounding systemic race, oppression, and inequalities of marginalized communities to further challenge my own role in the system and provide quality care to all.
